Lisa Weagle is one of Canada’s top curling athletes, with a storied career that includes two Olympic Winter Games, three Scotties Tournament of Hearts titles, as well as gold, silver, and bronze medals from the World Women's Curling Championships.
Lisa’s influence extends beyond the ice, taking on a prominent leadership role as Canada’s Chef de Mission for the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games. As an RBC Olympian, Lisa shares the power of Olympic dreams with youth and corporate audiences.
She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the next generation of curling athletes, which is why she founded the Lisa Weagle Curling Academy. A certified coach, Lisa works with athletes at all ages and levels from first-time curlers to Olympians. She is a Master Curling Professional and founding member of the Association of Curling Professionals. Lisa has consulted for Curling Canada’s NextGen and Wheelchair Curling programs.
Lisa is a lifelong Ottawa resident with over two decades of communications experience in agency, not-for-profit, and public sector settings. Lisa’s commitment to giving back extends to the boardroom, where she volunteers as a Director for the Sandra Schmirler Foundation and co-chairs the Birdies for Babies charity golf tournament.
